Concrete to Rebrand Beauty Blender
Back in 1998, Beauty Blender was simply an idea from Makeup Artist, Rea Ann Silva. After working in the Makeup industry for the majority of her life, Silva was continuously running into issues with makeup application and the tools that were supposed to make her job painless. After becoming fed up with expensive and ineffective tools, she started to experiment with her own materials and products. With numerous rounds of trial and error, Silva realized that an every day sponge was surprisingly effective in getting the job done. With rounds and rounds of designing various shapes and sizes, Silva found the teardrop shape to be the most effective. This final tear-drop shaped sponge ignited the beginning of Beauty Blender.
With the official founding of Beauty Blender in 2002 and the first prototype entering product development all the way to the current day, they’ve seen consistent success in the beauty tool industry. Beauty Blender is the world’s first edgeless, reusable, high-definition cosmetic sponge applicator. From their introduction into Victoria’s Secret and Sephora to winning numerous Allure Best of Beauty Awards; Beauty Blender is growing every year.
This year, Beauty Blender reached out to Concrete for a complete refresh to help further elevate their brand. Over the next few months, Concrete will be developing their rebrand to provide a cohesive system that enables Beauty Blender to move forward as a staple in the beauty industry.
